Our veggies come from Farmshare Austin this week; a local nonprofit teaching new farmers and preserving farmland. We hope you enjoy the beautiful peppers, radishes, and bok choy.
From now on you’ll be hearing from our Sunday Lunchbot to confirm weekly deliveries. You can always submit more detailed feedback at sundaylunchbox.com/weekly to give us flavor/count preferences, otherwise you’ll get a balanced mix.
Some reminders :
- Please save the bags. Leave on your porch next week for us to pick up. We’ll come by Sunday morning, same time, same place.
- Please compost all Sunday Lunchbox wrappers. You can return snack wrappers to us and we will recycle them.
5 Minutes & A Knife
- Red Radishes
- Olive oil, or your favorite oil of choice
- Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Cut radishes into roughly equal pieces.
Coat radishes with olive oil in a roasting pan and toss with salt & pepper.
Roast radishes on a pan/tray until they are tender, around 30 minutes.
